　　2017年7月22日，由YARC策展团队策划，北京东禾天创C+空间主办的“往来8000℃”——中外艺术家联展拉开帷幕。本次展览汇聚了中、韩、美、澳、法、西6国艺术家的200多件作品。展览呈现了不同国家、不同文化、不同形式的艺术作品。

　　展览通过“展示+研讨”的形式，讨论了艺术家在世界范围内“异地创作”的途径和必要性，来自澳大利亚的Denise和韩国光州市立美术馆北京驻访中心的朴雄珪老师分享了他们在中国进行艺术活动的经验。展览旨在为中国艺术家同国际艺术家提供一个交流展示的平台。也期待有更多的交流展示机会。展览将持续到2017年8月16日。

　　这是一个有温度的展览，开放在将近40℃高温的北京。这已是人们非常难以忍受的温度，但对整个宇宙来说，这个温度没什么稀奇。科学家定义宇宙最高温是8000℃，这是根据太阳的表面不超过7000℃来估算的。这是个不可思议的数字，它代表着我们无法想象的狂热，它是极限的代名词。8000℃是溶解、是全部、是极大……过了这个点，宇宙归无，不分什么星系、星球，什么大洲、国家，什么物质、文明，是神仙们口中没有了四海八荒的混沌，是庄子口中包含着千差万别的齐一，是燃尽了物质之后的精神世界。

　　今天，我们谈到中外艺术家的联展，总是希望通过不同的历史、制度、文化和思维方式去解读、品鉴和重构。这种解读是无穷的，每个人解读的角度不同，给出的结论也不同。外国艺术家在中国有时也会因为这些不同而被各种制约。那中外艺术家的联展意义在于什么呢，我想，大家愿意聚在一起，是因为包容和理解。我们允许不同的文明、不同的思想出现，我们提供这样一个平台去展现，我们提倡多元，我们鼓励不一样的存在。我们邀请不同国家不同地域的人参展，我们展示不同材质的艺术，我们希望拿出每一个艺术家对艺术的热情、对生活的热情、对一方水土的热情，呈现出开放、有趣且包容的展览形态，我们在绝对零度到8000℃的宇宙中往来，每一个温度点都代表着一种可能，每一刻温度都是一种对交流的渴望，我们期待通过交流衍生出新的花朵，结出更加多元的果实。

　　“外国艺术家在中国”研讨会

　　Held in the 40℃ heat of Beijing, this is an exhibition of temperature. For humankind, 40℃ is a very high temperature; while for the whole universe, it’s nothing to speak of. Estimated on the basis that the solar surface has a temperature of no more than 7000℃, scientists believe that the highest temperature of the universe could be 8000℃.An inconceivable number, it represents extreme hotness. 8000℃ means dissolution, integration and maximization… Hotter than that, the universe would go back to nonexistence, galaxies, planets, continents, countries, materials and civilizations all disappearing. That’s a chaotic situation where all waters and lands merge into one, Chuang Tzu’s homogeneity where divergences hide behind, and a spiritual world with no trace of material.

　　Today, when talking about joint exhibitions of Chinese and foreign artists, we expect to interpret, appreciate and reconstruct the works from the perspective of different history, systems, cultures and ways of thinking. This kind of interpretation has no ending, as everyone has his/her understanding as well as conclusions. Sometimes, foreign artists in China can find themselves constrained by all differences of interpretation. So what’s the significance of joint exhibitions?

　　As I see it, we get together because of understanding, inclusiveness and encouragement of special existences. Diversified civilizations and thoughts display on this platform we establish in collaboration. We invite artists from different countries and regions with artistic works in different textures, in the hope of bringing out everyone’s passion for art, life and someplace in an open, interesting and inclusive way.

　　We come and go into absolute zero at a universal 8000℃, with every temperature implying a possibility and a desire for communication. It is our wish that through communication, there would be new artistic flowers and then colourful fruits.
